A Women’s Safety Awareness Campaign titled “Safety Lies in Caution” was organized at Government Dental College & Hospital, Jamnagar on December 3, 2024, in collaboration with the Jamnagar District Police and Suraksha Setu Society. The event was held under the leadership of Jamnagar District Superintendent of Police, Mr. Premsukh Delu, and the Dean of Dental College, Dr. Nayana Patel. The seminar aimed to empower women and ensure their safety, benefiting over 200 female students, women doctors, and staff members.

During the seminar, Mr. Delu provided valuable insights on cybercrime, drug awareness, traffic regulations, public cooperation in crime prevention, women’s safety, and self-defense techniques. The event also featured a live demonstration showcasing self-defense techniques for women to use in emergency situations. Interested participants were invited to register for further training. Additionally, detailed information on the 112 helpline and other emergency numbers was shared to ensure timely assistance during critical situations.
